MELECON 2020 Organizing Committee is closely following the latest developments about the COVID-19 sanitary emergency. Please know that our thoughts are with those affected by COVID-19. The health and well-being of our speakers, invited participants, and the seminary community is our first priority. After studying and evaluating the recent announcements, news, relevant National Departments guidelines and restrictions on travels and group gatherings, we are sorry to announce that MELECON 2020, scheduled to be held June 16-18, 2020 in Palermo, Italy will no longer be held there. An electronic virtual conference will be organised.

In order to accommodate our authors, MELECON2020 will be providing a platform for accepted authors to upload a presentation about their work. These presentations will then be available to all paid attendees and will allow accepted papers to be published in IEEE Xplore. More information on how attendees and presenting authors can upload and access these presentations will be available soon. Registration fee will be reduced due to the cancellation of a face to face conference. You can find the new fees in the Registration section.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The committee is working diligently with IEEE Meeting, Conference and Events team to develop the best course of action.
